Vegetables seriously are a lifesaver. When we incorporate them into our diet more they are weight loss promoting, cancer preventing, cardiovascular support, stroke risk reducing and give so many more benefits to us! Vegetables are easy to incorporate into your diet and are essential to living a long, happy, and healthy life!

  1. Cabbage

Cabbage is rich in vitamin C, and high in glutamine! Glutamine has anti- inflammatory effects on your body. Increasing your cabbage intake also has been seen to reduce your chances of cancer, especially breast, lung, and colon cancers. Cabbage is not only good for weight loss due to inflammation but also in preventing cancer with its antioxidant properties and detoxification!

       2. Kale

Kale is high in fiber, flavor, and benefits! This vegetable is able to fill you up without giving you all the unwanted calories and carbs that tend to make people gain weight. This nutritional powerhouse has amazing antioxidant cancer fighting benefits, cardiovascular support, and is major body detoxification support role!

       3.  Rutabaga

Rutabaga is packed full of fiber which helps with clearing waste and toxins out of your body. Sure that might be gross, but it is extremely useful to clear your body out when you are trying to lose weight! Rutabaga contains very few calories and the high amount of fiber which helps to kick your metabolism back into gear and get you losing weight! They are also high in isottiocyantes which help to prevent cancer and beat inflammation!

       4.  Cauliflower

This is a low calorie superfood which has numerous benefits for you. It is cancer fighting, heart disease reducing, and fat shedding. Cauliflower is high in fiber and low in carbs so it fills you up longer and does not have all the calories. Cauliflower is packed full of nutrients that your body so desperately needs.  

       5.  Broccoli

Broccoli is one of the vegetables that is going to kick that inflammation out of your body, help prevent cancer, and stroke risk! It contains sulforaphane which is known to possess anti- inflammatory effects. When your body is inflamed, it makes you look and feel bigger than you really are! Broccoli has been linked to disease prevention and strong health promoting properties!
