Eating organic is not just a preference, it is ESSENTIAL.

Food directly reflects the environment it was grown in and if it was an environment full of pesticides, herbicides, or other toxic chemicals then the food is going to be full of those too!! Eating meat, fruit, and veggies that are not organic can lead to you being contaminated with the nasty pesticides that are used!

One such study compared pesticide levels in 18 children who got at least 75% of their juice and produce servings from organic sources with those of 21 children who got at least 75% of their juice and produce from conventionally grown food. Levels of organophosphorus pesticide metabolites in the urine collected were six to nine times higher in the children who ate conventionally grown foods than in those who ate organic diets. This is not the only study that showed the same results!! Keeping our bodies clean so that each organ and system can function properly is very challenging in our world, but if you buy organic it makes sure that you are providing your body clean food! Eating organic is essential to keeping our bodies healthy and clean.

  1. Eating organic will save you from being exposed to harmful pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, and harmful irradiated food.
  2. Eating organic guarantees that your food has not been genetically modified AND it guarantees that the farmers did not use sewer sludge as fertilizer for their crops.
  3. Eating organic means that the produce that you are eating is significantly higher in minerals and compounds that our bodies desperately need. They are also incredibly lower in nitrates which can be converted to potentially carcinogenic nitrosamines.

Ensuring that we are providing our body with the right nutrients and the right food that are not full of toxins is critical to keeping ourselves healthy and to making us feel good. If we are constantly consuming food that is chocked full of pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, and more then we are contaminating ourselves. Keep in mind the dangers of inorganic food when you are grocery shopping to feed yourself and your family.
